Reprise Records & Barenaked Ladies Take DVD Format to a New Level With `Barelaked Nadies'
Monday October 21, 2:06 pm ET

Disc Features 17 Music Videos, Live Footage & More, Including Groundbreaking ReVoice Studio Feature

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2002--Reprise Records and Barenaked Ladies are amplifying the music DVD experience with the November 5th release of "Barelaked Nadies," an innovative disc offering fans new levels of quality and interactivity. The state-of-the-art "Barelaked Nadies" spans one of the most wildly successful careers in modern pop music by compiling nearly all of the multi-platinum Grammy-nominated quintet's videos on a single disc. This comprehensive collection features 17 music clips (including the band's smash hit single "One Week"), footage of seven songs performed live in concert in New York City and a gaggle of extras, including crisp 5.1surround sound, hilarious running commentary from the band members and the groundbreaking bonus ReVoice Studio feature.

Powered by unique Synchro Arts technology, ReVoice Studio sets a new standard in DVD entertainment by allowing users to record themselves singing along to the video for "One Week" (with the lyrics highlighted Karaoke-style on the ReVoice Studio screen). ReVoice Studio then syncs up the user's recorded tracks to the mouth movements of Barenaked Ladies vocalists/guitarists Ed Robertson and Steven Page. When the video is played back, Robertson and Page appear to sing with the users' voices. Through e-mail, users can then share and compare favorite performances with anyone else owning a copy of "Barelaked Nadies." This is the first interactive product of its kind to appear on a music DVD.

"As fans of Barenaked Ladies, we were thrilled to produce a ReVoice Studio version of 'One Week,'" says Graham Stevens, Director of Marketing and PR for Synchro Arts Limited. "It's a terrific, upbeat song that perfectly fits the fun nature of ReVoice Studio. We worked with some visionary producers on this disc and look forward to developing a range of ReVoice Studio products with the great team at Warner and Reprise Records."
