INTERACTUAL TECHNOLOGIES AND ONE VOICE SIGN SALES AGREEMENT TARGETING INTERACTIVE HOME ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 21, 2002 -One Voice Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONEV - news), developer of 4th Generation voice solutions for the Wireless, Telematics, TV/Internet appliance and Interactive Multimedia markets announced, at the opening of the E3 Expo (www.e3expo.com), that it has signed a sales agreement for its voice solutions in the Interactive Home Entertainment market with InterActual Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of digital video entertainment for major motion picture studios.

Under the terms of the agreement, InterActual will actively sell One Voice’s technology in upcoming DVD titles that contain InterActual’s technology. This agreement is a natural extension for both companies, who worked jointly on Warner Home Video’s blockbuster DVD Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

“Voice technology offers a unique extension to the Interactive Home Entertainment industry, by creating a “Voice Experience” for the consumer when the DVD is played on a personal computer,” said Clint Ludeman, vice president of marketing for InterActual. “One Voice’s technology is the first of its kind and brings an entirely new dimension to DVD viewers of all ages.”

InterActual is an industry leader in the Interactive Home Entertainment market. Their product, InterActual Player, is used on many of the top-selling DVDs from studios including Artisan Entertainment, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Columbia TriStar, Dreamworks SKG, New Line Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios and Warner Home Video. Last year, InterActual’s technology was incorporated in over half of the Top 50 DVD titles and in over 400 DVD titles in total. See http://player.interactual.com/ for titles including: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Shrek, Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Blade 2, and The Matrix.

“We are very excited to be working with InterActual,” said Mike Isgrig, vice president of marketing and sales at One Voice. “They have a very impressive track record with the major studios and will be a valuable partner in our efforts targeting this fast-growing untapped market.”

International Recording Media Association (IRMA), a trade group representing the world’s media manufacturers and suppliers, has reported that DVD production will increase 120 percent over last year, pushing it over the 1 billion units-per-year milestone. This growth rate is more than 10 times faster than the growth of VHS. Demand for value-added services that enhance the viewer’s experience, such as voice technology, are expected to grow significantly.
